"The Live Edge Series is a growing collection of unique art that came from my desire for an organic substrate that better suited the fluid nature of my style of acrylic pouring. This collection is a continuation of my experience and exploration with the nature of fluidity through the element of water. 

When possible, I source discarded pieces of sheetrock from home remodels thus allowing them a beautiful new life as art on the wall instead of simply being the wall. Each piece is carefully hand chipped into a random shape, has a back frame added for stability, and is sealed prior to the start of the finished painting. Once the final image is created and fully dried, resin is added to bring out all the nuanced details of the piece."
